Pending verification

Found in a directory, map, press item, or submission. It remains unpublished or clearly marked until checked.

Official source checked

Core facts were checked against a current municipality, venue, hotel, restaurant, cultural institution, or other first-party source.

Confirmed by the business

An owner or authorized representative passed the claim review and confirmed practical information.

Editorially checked

The team confirmed the place through an in-person visit or equivalent direct editorial verification.

Source rules

The Municipality of Zapopan is an authoritative discovery source for civic places, parks, programs, and public facilities. Some older tourism pages contain outdated copy, so they are not sufficient on their own for current hours, operating status, or commercial details. Those facts require a current first-party source.

Each public listing shows its source and the last date checked whenever available. Business facts are scheduled for review at least every 180 days; stable civic landmarks at least annually.

For live events, an automated daily review reads allowlisted official team and venue schedules. Source identity, event identity, date, time, venue, and source link are locked before AI is allowed to prepare bilingual editorial copy. AI cannot create an event or change those verified facts; a failed source is isolated and cannot remove another source’s events.

Photo standard

We only use a photo when its subject is the actual place, business, or Zapopan cityscape described, and when its source and usage rights are recorded. No stock stand-ins and no AI-generated images are presented as real places. If a suitable photo is not available, the listing has no photo.

Corrections

Anyone may report a closed business, wrong address, changed hours, duplicate, or image problem. Corrections are reviewed against a current source before publication. Send a correction ↗
